2023 Annual General Meeting & Human Rights College

2023 Annual General Meeting & Human Rights College
Ottawa is hosting the 2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM) from June 16-18th. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is an opportunity for members and activists to come together in person to and inspire one another, to learn about each other’s activism efforts and campaigns, to share stories and experiences, and to listen, learn and participate in workshops, our sessions and panel discussions. The AGM is also Amnesty Canada’s highest decision-making body, and a place where important governance work happens, including electing our National Board and voting on resolutions that guide us in how we do our work. Throughout the weekend, you will meet and interact with individuals and groups from coast to coast to coast who share your commitment to human rights while making important decisions to guide our work. We hope that when you leave the AGM, you leave with new skills, new connections, inspiring stories, and a refreshed sense of hope and determination.

Amnesty International Canada AGM Inclusivity and Accessibility Statement
Amnesty International Canada strives to organize events that are a safe, welcoming, and accessible space for every person who chooses to participate. Amnesty International Canada is committed to organizing events that provide an inclusive and barrier free experience to attendees with accessibility needs. We recognize that the format, content, and organizing model of many annual general meetings—including our own—create barriers to meaningful inclusion.?
